Olympic 2012 Team GB medal hopeful Louis Smith gave the finest gymnastic performance ever delivered in a Great Britain vest on Saturday with a near-perfect demonstration of ballet on a pommel horse that scored an incredible 15.8 points.
The 23-year-old's stunning performance, alongside those of his teammates Daniel Purvis, Kristian Thomas, Max Whitlock and Sam Oldham, helped Great Britain finish third in team qualification behind the United States and Russia, booking themselves a place in this afternoon's final.
It marks the first time a British team has made it to an Olympic final since 1924.
Louis showed just what he was capable in 2009, when he appeared on the UK TV show Guinness World Records - Smashed.
Watch below as Louis sets the record for the most Thomas flairs on a pommel horse in one minute - a record which still stands to this day.
